The cultures that English is spoken as a foreign language were compared with American society in order to provide the differences for better understanding of the American culture. Ⅰ. Intro Through out this semester, Understanding English Speaking Culture class has covered American's value by learning their historic background; the contents we have covered are ranged from frontier heritage, politics, economics, education, leisure time activities and so on. We came to understand the root of Americans' perspectives on different factors of lives. For the semester-long project, we have chose career preference as our topic of cultural perspective of America.
